Ten Tails comes in response to ruminations on an artform, to some an
archaic medium to others a legitimate space with endless potential. It is meant
as an open-ended place of ponder, a branch, or even better a tail tangling
of the artists’ book tradition. The works associate with the bookworks’ habitat
in different ways, some only as a suggestion of what the form might become,
others of what it once was.
Ten Tails is a publication in a DVD-R format that showcases works by artists
from Iceland, England and Scotland; collected by Kristin Dagmar.
